Microsoft đã phát hành phiên bản cuối cùng của trình duyệt Internet Explorer 9 (IE9) với nhiều cải tiến và tính năng mới. Tuy nhiên, IE9 chỉ tương thích với Vista và Windows 7.

IE9 hỗ trợ tăng tốc phần cứng GPU (GPU hardware acceleration). IE9 bảo mật tốt hơn và cải thiện khả năng xử lí JavaScript.

Chức năng Tracking Protection giúp bạn kiểm soát tính bảo mật khi duyệt web. Với Tracking Protection, bạn cho thể lựa chọn site của bên thứ ba nào được phép thu thập thông tin và giám sát hoạt động online của bạn.

Theo thống kê của Google Analytics, hiện nay tỉ lệ người dùng IE để truy cập http://congtaidn.blogspot.com là 16,78% (trong đó IE9 chiếm 7,15%), đứng thứ ba (sau Firefox và Chrome).
